Melanie advised me to stay on variable rate in October because my new fixed rate was £100 per month higher....any way C&G have just pledge to pass on the new 1.5% cut to all of its customers!! That will save me £139.00 per month....cant believe it so very pleased x hope every one else gets the cut passed on for December x

That's great news - and before all of the saving is grabbed for the IVA make sure that you have made proper allowance for all other expenditure as there may be an opportunity to negotiate some increases if you have been struggling.

MY I&E form is £300 per month less for the last 9 months due to my ex-husband not paying his CSA money, so this will put a little more balance back in the pot!! My IP is so understanding and will be happy that I will be halfway back to where I should be!! In November I had to pay £70.00 more on the mortgage (nice Mum and dad) still will keep on trucking because my IVA is the best thing that has happened to me and I will be seeing it out until the end June 2010. Every month is a challenge but every month is one month closer to a new begining xx

Is there a reason why he cannot pay Kabby, or is it the case that he just won't?

I am in the IVA due to him not paying the agreed contribution (a very wealthy man) also he has a very clever mind, was actually getting £3000 per month plus school fees and formal spousal agreement amounting to the approx £70,000 per year (life was great!!) then he got wise and I had to get a job !! I now get £120 per month if I am lucky....but life is so good knowing I control my own destiny. I am rich with inner wealth xx [:I]I have our wonderful son priceless

What a rotter. I hate men who do not deal with their responsibilities. Why not threaten him with the new Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission and see if they can do a better job than the CSA.
