sorry for all the question :)
i am currently renting my home..........our landlord has to sell so i have to find somewhere else.my iva was 3 months old when i started renting my last property. this was done through an agency and the credit checks seemed to go through without a problem.
can an estate agent refuse you if they credit check you and see your iva?

Hi Brunswick and Welcome,

The short answer is yes, an estate agent can deny your application if they perform a credit check which shows your IVA.

However, if you are honest with them about your current debt situation and can maybe provide a bigger deposit than asked this could definitley help.

If that fails you can always look for places that have a private landlord, they usually dont perform credit checks.

You may find that it easier to use a private landlord rather than go through an agent.
