My last payment with GT was in March and since then we have been waiting the outcome regarding the equity in our property... since being in the IVA my hubby & I seperated but I stayed in the house for financial reasons, if I were to move out now and rent somewhere else would this extra outgoing be reconsidered if we had to continue payments for a further year !!
Customer services at GT cannot advise me 'at present' they said ...
Hi Sostressed, why can they not advise you at present - they should be able to inform you of what to expect.
If your payments are to continue for a year then the terms of your IVA continue for a year therefore if your circumstances change a review of your I&E should be undertaken and the payment revised if necessary. The I&E for both of you would be reviewed. Would you still be able to afford payments if you have this extra cost to bear and your husband funding the current home only on his income? I suggest going back to GT and discussing a full review.
Let us know how you get on and well done on your achievement with your IVA, I can imagine it hasnt been easy with the changes in your personal lives too.
