I'm sat here on the dusty bedroom floor with the dog. The movers have been and taken everything to storage including my clothes that I wanted to take with me[:0] Luckily I had hidden away underwear and travelling clothes for my move to Scotland. Also had hidden away some old sitting around clothes.

Its amazing just how much dust hides under things as well. There seems to be tissues everywhere as well. I wondered what happened to them after I put them under my pillow. Its also amazing just how much rubbish you accumalate in 26 years. I'm sure some of that got packed as well.[:D]

Everything is all sad and echoey. My mate bought me a couple of bottles of wine but the only glass I have left is a pint one, so pint of rose anyone[:)]

My brother is driving down from Ayr Sunday and we are driving back on Monday. I was worried that we would have too much stuff for the car but thats not gonna be a problem now[:p] I'm not looking forward to the journery as we will have the cat and dog as well. They have both only ever been in the car for trips to the vet. As soon as the cat gets in the car she starts yeowling and I'm not sure what the dog will be like. I haven't told my brother yet but if either of them throw up he's dealing with[;)]

It's all fun and games.
Hugs
Sue

Susie, I am sure everything will work out fine.

Don't you always find loads of stuff that you kept 'just in case', that you have never used. You can guarantee that once you throw it away you will need it!

It must be a very sad time for you leaving your home, which I am sure has many memories, but on the bright side, you will be starting a whole new life and I am sure you will do very well.

A pint of rose sounds good to me! I'll raise my cup of coffee to you!

Good luck with gettin everything up there ok, particularly the dog and cat.

Sendind you a big hug.

Forecast for next week

Mon Sunshine and showers
Tues Sunshine and showers
Weds Sunshine and showers.........

you get the picture.
Nah seriously we have had some great weather so far this summer and some of the coastline is second to none.

Enjoy scotland and dont worry about your accent,it will develope a real scottish twang quite quickly, just practice by saying "och aye the noo jimmy",all the way up in the car and no one will realise you arent scottish by the time you get here!!

Hey Sue, just wanted to wish you good luck, and well done on getting everything packed so quickly, it took me months. After the last piece of furniture was taken, I couldn't believe how disgustingly dirty the carpet was!!!!! It didn't look like that WITH the furniture! Hope it goes ok hun. Viki X

Catastrophe has struck. The removal men have packed my corkscrew AAAAAAAAAAAAArgh!!!!!!!!!!

The only reason it was packed quick was the 4 young men from Pickfords. My brother didn't trust me as I'm accident prone. Already broke my toes just by hitting it slowly with a sewing machine.

Just gotta find a screwdriver now to open the wine. The also packed my toothbrush charger.

Oh no!!!!!!!!

You must find a corkscrew!

How did you manage to break your toes with the sewing machine?

Neighbours all out at the moment how rude of them. I was pulling the sewing machine out of the cupboard and I tapped my toe. I stood there and watched it change colour. It was quite fascinating apart from the pain.

Still, I am sure you will be able to get a corkscrew later and enjoy your wine. It will be so much better for the keeping!
