Hi,

I'm looking to move into a friend's house, due to some problems with the property I am in at the moment. What will I have to do in terms of notifying my IVA? I don't my friend to know about my IVA, as it's my own personal business. She agrees that I can pay exactly what I'm paying now (as I will be helping her out anyway with my rent).

Do I just change my address with my IVA, or will I need to produce evidence? My other bills such as car insurance, food and utility bills will also reduce slightly.

I've been in my IVA since January 2006, and have never missed a payment, or have had any problems.

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

You will need to inform your IP of the change in circumstances.

Ask them if they will need any avidence providing and if so, then you could always ask your friend to provide you with a rent book so that it is on a legal footing.
