Hi Skint til payday,
I realise that it has been a little tricky to read between the lines with this post, Naturally the advice will be DO NOT incur further credit, be it yours(leading to a failed IVA) or someone elses. But If you take a look at AndyDavie's replies I understand that to be, if you hold a supplementary card it does not result in the main account holder getting bad credit, but to get the cardholder to register a notice of disassociation with the credit agencies to be sure. I am hoping that I interpreted the reply correctly.
Thanks to everybody for thier prompt and knowledgable replies.
J

James,
Why use a suppl' creditcard if you are not intending to incur debt?? Use a debitcard. Debitcard Debitcard.Spent what you have.

Having a balance on a creditcard and paying interest on it is a mindset.A misuse of the card in my books. Change the mindset.

I have to agree with others. Cut that card up. Temptation can be a very dangerous thing especially if you are already in trouble financially.

An iva is a way of dealing with your debts, think about how you got to the stsge you are now and then decide if you want that temptation.
At the end of the day only you can make that choice, but surely a debit card spending money you have is the best answer other wise you wouldnt be looking at an iva.

Please don't take any more credit and you don't need to go and get a cash plus mastercard and you can have the same facilities as a credit card but not run up the debt!
