Melanie the laddie was Scottish and although I love the accent I sometimes find it hard to understand.however he definitely started the call to say he was from grant Thornton, when he asked about the variation letter, I asked if he was from e I f , he said no and I think he said e s c and he said they were a subsidiary of grant Thornton in charge of getting the letters back. Im more miffed it was at 9 pm.

Could he have said EIC thats who the spotty letter comes from, even though the letter inside is from GT and signed by GT it is actually in an EIC envelope.

I would try and give them the information they need, as in the long run it will probably speed up the process for you.

I'm doing the ppi myself Melanie, I've got till next year and apart from Debenhams all have said there is no ppi. Just gotta get the letters back. Nick John there may have been a moment of lost in translation about whether he was from E I C or E I f or e s c lol but definitely a subsidiary of grant thornton
