3 Learn to play a musical instrument with some degree of skill

4 Drive across America from coast to coast

Oh Ray,
What a fantastic subject. Now let me think, this may take some time being Irish!! Tee hee [:)]
1. Get married - it wil be the first time for me....a mature bride to say the least!! [:)]
2. Be debt free and able to afford things of luxury, like a holiday!!
3. Finish paying my mortgage - the OR being in agreement over the next few weeks that is!! [:I]
4. Win the lottery, but a bost and sail around the Carrbbean for months at a time....heaven [:D]
5. See my neice and nephew get married, settled and financially secure...that may be a tall order, especially for my neice who seems to have inherited my addiction to credit cards....oops!! [:(]
Well, those are initial thoughts, I may change them at a later date!! [:)] I'm a tad undecided, due to stress!! (Any excuse, eh...)

[:D]Hi Lady H,
Those are achievable really. Start smal - learn to drive, i did it in later life and it's OK. You will get there realitively quickly, beleive me, I did one of those intense courses (used to be called a crash course - but that's not such a good name, eh.....)
Go for it....
The oceans will take longer as that takes money to get there.
Have faith, we beleive in you..... [:D][:D]

Go for it Ladyh. My mum was 56 when she learnt to drive and is still driving at 78!

In no particular order my 5 things are:

1. Watch the Boxing Day Ashes test match in Australia
2. Watch the space shuttle being launched
3. Swim with dolphins (I'm scared of water but it's something I always wanted to do)
4. Live by the sea
5. Get married

I learnt to drive at 35, took 7 months to learn and passed second time. Got married first & only time at 36, so I have achieved those two dreams now.Wedding was fantastic like a fairytale. Another thing would be to talk to my sister again as we fell out when I started seeing my husband as he was their friend. I dont need him to keep me happy,(noted his comments above) I think happiness comes from within, only you can make yourself happy or unhappy. Anyway thats it I think. I slightly changed my 5 things above. [:D][:p][:I]
Life goes on!!

ladyh - you just have to wait until I've finished my IVA for the storm chasing and we can go together!!!!!!!

I've seen a shuttle launch, way back in the days when you could actually watch it from the space centre and it was totally amazing. Now, the closest place you can get is a town called Titusville. It ranks among one of the best things I have ever done.

The other thing with the shuttle was also many years ago. I worked in Birmingham at the time and the shuttle was doing a tour round the country 'piggy back' on a jumbo. What a sight that was.

I have a memory of the space shuttle flying over my primary school in the 70's on the back of a jumbo jet but I might have imagined it or seen it on the telly.

1. Become debt free and remain that way.
2. See my youngest daughter develop into a well balanced young lady, who deserves everything she desires through her own hard work, self discipline and determination.
3. To see all my children and their children happy.
4. To buy a camper van and tour the UK fishing all the lakes and rivers as we desire.
5. To leave my children happy memories of me being an alright Mum aka Lez!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
