If it is the same one that I saw, it was early 80's Johnny - and you didn't imagine it!

I loved it too. I think it is soo nice to see what everyone hopes or dreams, becaus emany can and will come true. I have so many wishes that my list is endless. Its good that we can think of positive things when we might not feel so positive. Good one ray.[:)]

I've enjoyed this post, on another forum (dog related)I'm a member of we do Friday 5, 5 questions we each copy and paste and answer and it gives us an insight into each others lives. I realise on here we remain mainl anonymous but might be worth a go??

I remember being allowed out on break early at school in the early eighties to see the shuttle.

Here are my five:

1 Pass my motorcycle test
2 Own a Harley
3 Go to Australia
4 See my children grow up happy
5 Retire somewhere hot

I want to retire somewhere hot as well!

Austrailia doesn't bother me - too many nasty creepy crawlies and poisonous snakes, jellyfish, octopus for my liking!!!!!![:D]

I want to go back to the Maldives (which I will achieve when I retire) and hopefully live as long as my parents have (in their 80's and still going!)

1) To stay healthy, ditto Mrs Torch.
2) To see both my daughters settled and happy.
3) To win the lottery
4) To die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers.
5) To die penniless, i just need to get the timing right.

Yep it could have been the early eighties when i saw the space shuttle flying over thinking about it.

The Space Shuttle is on its last legs - I think they are in their final few missions and will be retired next year.

I saw Concorde land at Manchester Airport years and years ago as well. Never flew on that either!

Hubby was going to pay for me to fly on one of the last short Concorde flights for my 50th, but it would have meant me going by myself which wouldn't have been the same.

He took me to the Maldives instead - fabulous![:D]
