I know my comment was flippant but I said it because I know that a child costs an absolute fortune over its lifetime and I am not sure if we can provide for a baby as much as we would like to or need to. With a car if you can't affrd the running costs then you can sell the car. I admit you dont have any repairs with a baby but you do have to replace clothes, shoes, child minding costs e.t.c. In reality it would mean Wonder giving up work and at least one of the IVA's failing if not both. A car post IVA if saved for before purchase would not pose the same difficulties.
