Hi
I am new here and urgently need some info. I have applied for IVA and the meeting with creditors is set for the 19th of November. My practitioner told me to shift my bank account to any bank with whom i dont have credit. I confirmed with them about Halifax but my only concern was that i had credit with Bank of Scotland, which is in partnership with Halifax. But i was told that it was ok. Well today when i went to the cash machine it did not let me draw any money. I went to the branch and after some investigation they asked me if i have applied for bankruptcy and i told them that i have applied for IVA. After making a call to their collections department they said that they need a letter from my practitioner saying that they do not have any interest in the funds present in the account. Once the letter was faxed over i was told that someoen would get in touch with me in the next 48 hours.
I am extremely worried as this is the only funds i have to pay for house rent and groceries etc.
Can
