This is Carol
I have asked a couple of questions but not sure If I am doing this right. My husband and I are with a company called Blair Endersby in Manchester. We have had an IVA now for nearly 4 years. because we missed some payment last yeat due to my husband being out of work for 8 months and also looking after his daughter who was terminally ill and died in July they are now asking for £903 p/m this is difficult as we owe some money to a friend who helped us out during this very sad time. What can we do?

Hi Carol and welcome to the forum.

So sorry to hear you sad news.

You need to speak to BE to see if you can possibly extend your payments so that you are not paying out such a lot per month.

I'm afraid your friend is going to have to wait to be paid back until after the IVA has finished.

Hi
Have a chat with your IP and agree affordable payments going forward. You do not want your IVA to fail at this stage

Ask for the IVA term to be extended on the basis that you cannot afford to increase the payments at the moment. This should be acceptable as no one will want to see your IVA fail at this late stage.
