my husbands salary has been about £700 less over the last 3 months - but we still have to make the same payments - where are we supposed to get the money to make the payments?

Ask to speak to your IP direct as on the surface it seems unreasonable for you to absorb this reduction in an already tight budget. Let us know how you get on x

HI,

I agree with BOL. You need to speak to your IP about this as it may be possible for you to get a reduction in payments.

Is this drop in wages likely to be a permanent one?

You should try and gte an immediate payment holiday until the finances are stabilised. If your income has dropped this much it will be impacting on other parts of the family budget and no doubt you have arrears elsewhere.
