I've just logged on to my IVA account and noticed that the amount that I am paying monthy is different to what they calculate (I am paying less).

The only reason I just checked it is due to the fact that I had a letter saying I had extra money to pay after my last 3 payslips. I just didn't think about it at the time, but they said I owed over £200 to be paid in, which is obivously arrears now.

I rang them up, thinking I'd forgotten about some commission and just said I would pay the extra before my anniversary as usual and they said fine and she would put a note on the system.

Where do I stand here? I am already well over my dividend (post made previously about that) Am I within my right to tell them where to go so to speak. As they didn't tell me about the increase?

I suggest that you get your IP to give you a summarised statement of account showing exactly how much they claim that you are in arrears by, and how this is analysed. You will then need to check this against your own records to ensure that this is correct or otherwise. Highlight any errors of calculation to your IP so that they can understand why you dispute the amount claimed.

Thank you. I was going to ring them tomorrow and ask for some more detail. Will update when I know more.
