Hi Sue, as far as I'm aware you can ask another company to present an IVA proposal. There was a case on here yesterday (I think) from someone who had an unrealistic proposal with Synergi but had their IVA accepted after Melanie took over.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

My third attempt at a reply. :)
Hi Sue

Trying again would not be pointless, but why should you have to try again. Your IP should not take your case if he/she is not confident to succeed.

Have you spoken to your IP? Have you voiced your concerns? How far into the IVA process are you?

My advice would be to speak to your IP and ask the questions on your mind. Allow your IP the opportunity to put your mind at ease. After all if accepted you will liase with your IP for the next 5 years and you have to completely trust your IP as he/she will be your main contact throught the IVA.

Good Luck

Sue

To answer your question, there is no reason why you could not represent your proposals, but if your IP gets it right for you first time this should not be necessary.

Good luck!

Sue
Many times finance companies have different sections dealing with different aspects of the business and sometimes these sections do not communicate very well.
You could just raise this with your IP,as you have already had a creditors meeting, just in case they genuinely have not received your IVA proposal.

All creditors get details of all of your creditors Sue, within the body of the proposal document.

Hi Sue h,

If your proposal is not successful it can be looked into by another IP and it may be possible to put another forward dependant on the reasons for rejection.

Fingers crossed for your adjourned meeting date.

Kind Regards

Nicola
