My IVA completed a year ago and I have my certificate of satisfaction - my Experian record is still showing it as live - how do I get it noted as satisfied?

They should amend your IVA details as satisfied if you send them a copy of the letter.

As to defaults, if you have any registered after the date of IVA acceptance then write to the Data Controller for any creditors doing this and tell them to remove those defaults, again enclosing a copy of your completion letter.

With regards to the defaults, if they are six years old do you still need your completion letter to have them removed or will they automatically get deleted six years after the original default date?
IVA Official Completed 27th July 2012!!!

If the default date is the date of the IVA agreement then they will drop off after the six years. Some creditors will continue to default afterwards and these won't drop off until six years after the last one is registered which is why you need to get the date altered.
