A total worry for you Lyns, glad the shop took a sensible mature attitude to what your Mum did, I often wonder if my MIL will get harmed as her tongue is nasty at times and her language well!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

mine can be like that Lesley and I don't have dementia as a reason!

Lyns take care of yourself, when you see the social worker on Tuesday make sure you have prepared a detailed list of 'incidents' that have happened and explain what your mum is like on a good day/bad day etc and where you feel she is at risk

They were close to prosecuting Lesley but my parents have lived here for 33 years & mum working in the PO for best part of 17 years she's well known. Dad told them if you took her to court she would have no idea what was happening.
They suggested we go with her, but we can't keep track of her & dad needs his time out even if its just a little walk.
they did get alittle arsy about it which annoyed us. Dad asked me if I could keep watch when he goes out & follow her, but he had forgot about Leah, getting her in a pram etc. so we just gently suggested that she didn't go in there any more, or get a basket & told her the had cameras watching what everyone does. Thing is now we think she knew what she was doing as she hid the sweets at home :(

I don't get ME time at all, boys, Leah & my parents take up my energy & time, hubby works long hours, he's not here to help with most things as he's at work, I'm practically a single parent when it comes to the children. He misses out & I end up shattered then he's shattered because of work.
But Leah is a ray of sunshine for us all, my Dad didnt want me to go through with having her, the worry of losing me & he was worried I wouldn't be able to support them anymore, but he adores her & she brings a smile n laughter to us all, except mum x

I love my dad, I really do & I'm very grateful to have him here with me. I know I will be gutted & lost when he's not here with me & i know that day will come, he's my best friend too, but I can't tell him everything.

3 visits today, I never mind or question them, even if he repeats the same stuff over n over that I've heard his stories or his worries 100X over, I still sit n listen.

I'd love to let off steam with a vodka this evening or 10!!!
