My mum was paying an IVA but sadly passed away recently. What happens to her life insurance ?

Do what is right by your mom.

You have proven you gave the iva company the opportunity to take action.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Unfortunately some firms can be very slow at progressing matters.

Suggest you send them a written complaint by recorded delivery so you can then escalate to the Gateway if necessary.

Out of interest who is the IP firm?
