i think so. im going to go over it again tomorrow with the calculator and make sure it works. seems ok but the only thing im concerned about is the council tax thing......if its spread out over the year that means im going to be short £14 every month for 10 months so it means i have to find that from somewhere else doesnt it ?

That does suck. I wonder if your IP will allow you the full amount for the first ten months and then you can save the two free months to help out over the following year when the 10 payments can be spread over the year.

I know what you mean. Its bad timing to start the iva at the same time as the council tax year. I'm sure they'll be able to think of something.

you could get in touch with council tax and get them to change it over 12 months

I put down my council tax figure and that has always been accepted - even though I pay over ten months.

So far I have had an allowance for what I actually pay each month therefore giving me 2 free months which is enough to get my enormous hedge cut. God help me if they change it at the annual review x

just worked out the figures and it looks like theyve given me extra on a couple of other allowances which covers the shortfall in the council tax. ill confirm it with them later but it looks like thats what theyve done

Thats what DFD did on my proposal ditzy, apparently they have 'averages' they have to put for some things so you might find you'll lose on some outgoings but gain on others. Did the postman squeeze it through your letterbox ok? Lol :-)
