Whenever a creditor rejects an IVA the reason for the rejection will be requested. Generally creditors vote by sending their proxies either by fax or in the post and do not attend the meeting in person. Often detailed reasons for the rejection are not received with the proxy and it is necessary to phone the creditor to discuss this further. Although we will endeavour to contact them immediately they are not always available to deal with our query straight away. It is Tenon policy to keep the client informed with progress, and assume that you have been in contact with the relevant office. Please feel free to contact the Insolvency Practitioner dealing with your case or a member of their team to discuss this further at any time.

It probably did Andy and the Tenon people responded - good news all round. It shows problems posted on this site can have happy endings and sometimes it is worth mentioning who is the IP because some expert here can help. It also draws the site to the attention of more experts!
