Quite - and it should not take nudges from other IP firms to sort things out. From the post made by your particular firm, they certainly seemed to have the matter in hand - and you were actually reporting something fairly common which does happen on a very regular basis for those of us processing a number of IVAs.
Thanks to all for advice and good wishes. Now it's all over I'm not sure what to do with myself! I might start with shredding all those default notices, can't go shopping, I resent buying anything at the moment!
Sometimes problems that affect persons in IVA's are not communicated to the IP and someone in the IP's firm is possibly not dealing with the matter correctly.
(a) always know the name of your IP
(b) if you are having a problem - write to him/her immediately asking for a proper review of issue
More often than not this will do the trick - otherwise contact Melanie or I on this Forum and we'll do the "nudging".
