i was one of those desperate people whom agreed to an IVA at the suggestion of horrendous I&E that was not affordable in the 1st place.

Luckily Hubby had 2 pay increases n we managed to increase our Expenditure & keep the IVA payments the same. When we contacted our IVA company I think they could see from common sense our I&E was very unaffordable - its still not brilliant now, but we are getting there.

Make sure its realistic & make sure you get a IP you can speak too - Ive never spoken to mine yet. Though my recent case manager was excellent & I have more faith in him than our original one.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Hi I'm personally with Melanie Giles and her team but there are lots of good IP's and I would strongly suggest you contact at least 2 or 3 IP's prior to making a decision and taking advice specific to your situation. Try www.iva.com for a list of companies and don't forget we're all here to offer advice and support as needed. All the best.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
