My wife has left our marital home. Where do I stand as her wage was taken into account ?

My wife has left our marital home.The iva is solely in my name and i have just started year 6 to close.Can someone please advise me on where i stand as her wage was taken into account in the expenditure.

Sorry to hear this. I would speak to your IP and ask for a full income Bd expenditure review. You maybe in a position to seek closure based on payments to date if there is insufficient budget now available to continue your IVA.

Sorry to hear of your problems but agree with luluj that you need to inform your IP asap and hopefully be able to close the IVA.

As above -- you need to have a full and frank chat with your IP. At the very least a new I&E will need to be conducted to assess the viability of the IVA going forward. Also discuss the possibility of a variation asking the creditors to accept payments made to date in closure of the arrangement.

A full review of I and E is required. Without her income would you be in a position to make any payments into the iva? If not then hopefully your IP will see sense and look to close things down with payment to date being sufficient.
