My wife is worried sick about solicitors letters

But in the post this morning i receive 3 letters from solicters acting on behalf of a company that bought some of my debt. They are insisting on full payment before the end of this month or they will start legal procedings. Am i right in thinking they are just trying it on and there is nothing legally they can do. My wife is now worried sick about this. I cant ring my IP as there is no one in the office till Monday.

Your IP should be able to sort it on Monday.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

update on this, i spoke to my IP and its what been said on here. My IP asked me to forward the letters on to him and he dealt with them. I then phoned up the company involved "Eversheds" acting on behalf of Max Recovery and they actually appoligised and told me i would receive no more letters. Forgot to mention my IP said they have had numerous phonecalls about said company and their letters. But i'm happy and more important my wife is as well.

IVA approved Aug 2008 - 6 year term - last payment made 6 Oct 2014. CC received 14 Nov 2014.
