Im ok Jan, just not my mind set to update you, it is a right mess!

Thanks Kyla, Blooming cars! glad you got your sorted, you sound so much more positive now, everything crossed for friday.

I have been going through auto trader & gumtree etc, & we are going to look at one on Wednesday. Very scary as it is pushing us to the max & it will be a tight month after, but fingers crossed. It ticks nearly all the boxes, but when your spending cash you want to be sure!
Its an odd feeling but Im more fussy about what Im going to be spending mine n my dads cash on - there probably going to find me fussy! And if Im not happy - no deal!!!!

No worries Lyns, email me as and when you're ready. I'm around at some point during the day.

Hope you get a decent car sorted.

Best way to get a deal Mrs K ... be prepared to walk away and let them know it.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Just to bring this post & situation up to date!

We have managed to be able to cut our 2 month break down to one, with the help of my Dad. Ive just got through to GT today, been trying for over about a week they really do seem busy!
Ive phoned to recommence our payments for July instead of August & pay the one month arrears over 4 months, just in time for winter/xmas.
Little bit unnerved by the person on the end of the phone as they did not seem to know what they were doing. Might have to phone back in a few days as im not confident in how I was dealt with today.
The lady got a totally wrong figure for the amount the extra payments should be (201/4 =50.25) Yet came up with 63.25? Also seemed to not know how to change it in the system, slightly worried!

We decided to reduced our payment break after getting some news that gave us abit of a shock! Which is going to require a change in our circumstances in the near future, so we want to get the IVA back on track before it happens.
I shall update you all when I have it sorted it on a new thread x

Great getting a car & managing to reduce your payment break. Hope your shock news is good or not that bad given recent events!!
The road is 72months long starting September 2010.
