Not with them just now. I was going to upgrade my co-op account but they dont do one with decent benefits now (phone insurance for all the family and breakdown cover for both cars easily worth 10-15 a month).

May go online today and apply. Then again I may bottle it through fear of rejection!!

For all the cuurent accounts the question is 'Are you or any other person applying currently bankrupt or in an Individual Voluntary Agreement (an IVA) with creditors?' so you may be ok. Let us know how you get on

Oh and the Co-op told me that they wouldn't upgrade my account until my credit file was clear.

decided to apply online today as the RAC breakdown cover we have expires in january, and the renewal is £150. This account is a tenner a month and includes breakdown cover so it is worth the ten pound a month fee on that basis alone.

Computa says no! Unable to offer an account but thanks for applying.

Oh well,I will try again in may when trust deed drops off files.

Now to see how much the AA is and bounce them and the RAC off each other to drive the renewal down.

Oh that's a shame.

Hubby found he didn't even have to do an AA quote to get the RAC to reduce the renewal. He phoned up and asked if that was the best they could do and they reduced it from £150 to £95.
