sorry blamed it on bank error...yeah likely story..lol
i think IC next and compensation, what figure is reasonable you think?? because after 29th it will hurt my report

the banks being ever so lovely again it seems - really does make my blood boil, if they are ging to close your account, ample notice for you to find another account is not a lot to ask for. grrr

I would complain to the ICO sooner rather than later as they have the power to force Natwest to comply. You may find it takes a while though as the last I heard there was at least a 6 month backlog.

I would say to anyone having problems getting creditors to amend default dates that they need to give the banks 28 days to comply with the request and if after 2 months they haven't done so to go straight to the ICO.
