I get 12 every month BOL. Suffer badly with migraines. Tried the usual beta blockers, low dose anti-depressants and the epilepsy drug but none suited me. Very expensive though x

It's only Select Silver you pay for not the Select account that I've applied and been accepted for.

Footiemad - have you been to the hospital? I went to a really good one in Hammersmith and they gave me some different beta blockers that work a treat. I probably only get one migraine a week now and sometimes less if I'm eating really healthily and have no stress. I agree that the anti depressants don't do much and never tried the epilepsy drug. x

I went to the hospital about 4 years ago and seem to remember the consultant wanting to inject the back of my neck and I'm afrais I didn't go back after that. I did try acupuncture though - that didn't work either. Maybe I should go back to the GP and ask to be referred again. Thanks for the info Bol x

Inject your neck???? I wouldn't have gone back either. I've just had a referral to a chiropractor or osteopath as the migraines give me constant neck and back ache and the muscles in my shoulders are contracted a lot so I can't move my head much. I don't know what the diff between the two is tho so I haven't booked anything yet! But when I go I'll let you know if they're any good. x

I'm not sure what the diffence is but I found the osteopath more effective than the chiropractor when I went with my back.

Good luck to you both x

That's good to know Skippy - thank you! The problem with neurologists is they aren't interested in anything below the neck so I've never found out if the migraines cause the muscle problems or the other way round!!

My husband is seeing a Rheumatologist on the 15th December as since his accident at work, he's having spasms of pins and needles in his hands/fingers. They occur frequently and Saturday he was carrying shopping bags and that was a bad day. He sometimes can't hold a knife and fork, I'm assuming something is trapped?

I tried yesterday to upgrade mine to a silver but was declined.
I thought maybe it wouldn't affect me much having to use Natwest only machines but its a right ball ache (pardon my French).

Oh not good, I didn't want the silver because of the cost so only went for the Select. Not had anything through the post yet and only been told online been accepted so we'll see. x

*UPDATE*

After being refused on-line. I received a txt from natwest this morning saying my 'replacement card' was on its way. Baffled I called them up and they have upgraded me to the silver account. Card was sent out yesterday.. Strange

This Nat West thing is really bothering me now. Had a letter from them today confirming that they could not offer me a current account due to bankruptcy. However they did say that if I was discharged they could consider a basic bank account. Don't they realise I already have One! Just praying that they don't cancel my account now x

I don't think they would footimad. They tried to upgrade me to a current account last year without me asking and they said no because it comes up as 'bankrupt' and they didn't mind
