I also have a Basic Account with Natwest and have no problems with it. Always plenty of RBS/ Tesco card machines if I need money.
I will probably keep it once IVA finishes and I have no need to pay for an account.

I successfully upgraded during IVA to Select Silver but Natwest are no longer doing Lovefilm (3 DVD's over month) or HMV digital downloads so I opted to downgrade back to Select account and save £10 per month.
