My 5 years are up last payment made DD cancelled . I have been passed to the closure team so hopefully in 6 months I will have my completion certificate . I’m glad I chose this route I’m not saying it’s been easy sometimes it’s been bloody hard but I’ve got there . I’ve learned lessons if I haven’t got the money I can’t have it simple no way will I be in this position ever again . This forum has been a god send I don’t post a lot but I read it a lot x

We made our last payment on June so also waiting for certficate (long story but my posts are here if you are browsing!!!)

Well done. Its never an easy process to go through, budgeting for a 5 year period can be a struggle as life throws things at you.

As for learning lessons throughout you arent wrong.

We have had to do 6 years, finishing in December so the end is in sight! Well done to those that have survived like us, it hasn't been easy but we are so looking forward to being debt free and having some money to spend on ourselves and our house which has completely gone to rack and ruin due to lack of funds. Will still be budgeting properly though and recording every single penny spent... :lol:
