Hey Debbie, welcome to the forum. No, you do not have to be a home owner. If you want to post a few more details, we can help you further. X

Hello and welcome debbie.k

No, you do not need to own your own home, but can you post a few more details as to your situation so that we can give you a little more of a specific answer?

Regards.

In some ways it is easier to do an IVA if you do not own a property, as there is no messing about with having to raise equity during the final year. Much easier for you and your IP!!

Welcome Debbie. I'll second that Melanie, we rent our home and we don't have the worry of the equity release in Yr 4. If you post some more specific details, I am sure you'll get loads of great advice. Kazzy x
