Hopefully this will allow me to pay more but obviously at the outset, there would be other bills. these should be covered by the money coming in to the business, (general handiman etc). Can I legally open a business account, no credit etc required, the friend is the money part of the business.

assuming you're in an IVA paulf? I would definitely discuss this with your IP and so long as your accounts are in order this may realise more money to be paid into the IVA in the long term, which will increase the dividend for your creditors so my opinion is it's a good idea.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
