hi can anyone tell me the figure that is set for housekeeping and food etc for a family of 2 adults and 4 children?

We were allowed £600 a month in our br. That was for me, hubby, 2 grown-up kids and 2 growing kids.

Under CCCS guidelines the following allowances are stated for 2 adults and 4 children:-

Minimum - £401
Guideline - £488
Maximum - £595

I always use the maximum allowances for my clients, unless they tell me they spend above or below this figure, but we are seeing more and more creditors seeking to reduce this to the guideline figures.

thankyou i am just having to do a new expenditure form because i have sent a full final letter they said they need a new one.they have actually got me down for £740 unless this is something else aswell maybe the school dinners etc not sure
