Hi All,

I've just had a letter of my current lender (mortgage) advising that my fixed rate will end on the 30th June and I'll switch to their variable tariff.

Having called my lender (Kensington) they advised that they are unable to offer new fixed rates product, and I'd need to seek the help of a broker.

Is there anyone out there that will offer my a new fixed rate term whilst I'm in an IVA? I don't want to borrow anymore, just purely fix my rate for X number of years.

Thanks

Foggy

You could have a word with Ryan and /or Shaun:

Ryan: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=18488
Shaun: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22837

But I fear that, while still in the IVA, your options will be limited and the variable rate with your current lender will possibly be better than any new fixed deal you might be offered by another lender. However,it is always worth asking!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
