Hi Everyone,
I'm currently in an IVA and the fix term on my mortgage is due shortly. What are the chances of me being able to get a new fix term mortgage with an alternative lender?

I appreciate my new lender may give me a new fixed team deal close to my renewal but I just wanted to explore my options

Thanks

Some lenders have, in the past, offered new deals to customers in an IVA and, sometimes, at better rates. Choices with an alternative lender might be slim pickings. Maybe Shaun or Ryan could assist, both whole of market broers with experience of adverse credit applications:

My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Each lender will consider differently based on circumstances. Have a chat with them and explain - hopefully they will be supportive
