My name has been changed while I have been on here. It used to be our surname, but then a few things started happening. The one day my eldest stepdaughter mentiond the IVA very quietly and when we asked how she knew she denied saying it, VERY wierd! So I asked for the name to be changed - didn't want her mother knowing!

I'm friends with Dave's ex wife (strange I know!) and I certainly wouldn't want her to know!

I can't see me and Ians ex being friends at all. She can barely look at me. When we pick the kids up they come out of the house and close the door with no sign of her. And she communicates to Ian mainly through text message - usually telling him what to do. x

I don't think we'll ever be friends, but now Dave's got grandchildren it makes it easier if we can all get on, especially as there's a christening and a wedding coming up.

I'm friendly with my hubby's ex as well. We exchange Christmas and Birthday cards and even attended each other's second weddings!

With my stepchildrens birthday parties we just sit seperately. And every opportunity she gets she will tell people that I am awful and ian can't do anything without my say - I wish this was the case sometimes!

Wow kallis - she didn't come to our wedding. And even kicked up a fuss when we asked her if she could have the kids back after the reception as it was our wedding night.
I wish we could get on. x

Very sensible attitude Skippy, I used to be good friends with my ex-husband, his new wife and we even all went on holiday together one year, after he refused to come to his own daughters wedding I don't want anything else to do with him, although I'm always polite if I see him but only to keep the peace. x

I couldn't go that far Lesley - no way would I want to be going on holiday!

I don't blame you for only keeping the peace now, although I don't think I'd manage that.

I did it for the children Skippy, it was funny when the children's entertainer asked for Mum and Dad to come up and we got up from different partners! Gave people something to talk about!

I actually used to like her and him (as a friend) but they disappointed me hugely with daughters wedding. x

Blimey - my spelling was a bit iffy there!

Hubby's ex sent daughter a birthday card one year when her half brother and sister forgot!

We speak sometimes on the phone and have met up a few times in the past twelve months. When stepdaughter got married, she even picked me up from the hotel to go to the hairdessers. Her hubby is a bit of a wimp but he's a likeable enough chap.
