Your IP will have probably got IVAs through at a dividend lower than 40p in the past with HSBC - we know this because it has been reported on the forum, but as David says if you owe HSBC less than 25% of the aggregate debt, then the issue of this is not so relevant as the votes from other creditors could outvote any rejection.
