I finished with my previous employer on the 31st Dec and started a new job on 2nd January which did include a pay increase & increased travelling costs.

Should I inform my IP immeadiately or wait till my review in May?

Though a failure to disclose could leave me unemployed which is a sticky point at the mo.

Hi there

There is no harm in advising your IP of your change in circumstances now - a short e-mail should suffice.

Am I required to though?

If I don't inform them can they ask for back payments of any increase between Jan & May?

That depends upon the terms of your IVA - if you have the 50% uplift provision then you may be asked to pay over more monies if they have been earned.

And do remember that you are duty bound to advise your IP of all changes of circumstance as and when they occur.

Yeah I suppose I best just tell them...

I dont have the uplift provision and was hoping I could pocket some cash for a holiday but I suppose its a bit too risky.

If you don't have the uplift provision, I would be suprised if your IP would take more money off you retrospectively - but best to be sure.
