Hi there,
I've just read a post which was answered by Blair Endesby, new member with an e-mail address of ip@blair....
Is it just me or does anyone else fell a little uncomfortable that their company will be reading the posts on which we are all honest and supportive?
Maybe I'm being paranoid and insecure but it will make me think very carefully what i say or ask for help with.
What do you think, especially you Andy?

I think its a good idea to have these companies on the forum to answer concerns that any of their clients may have.
Remember all posters have the choice to remain annonymous.
More importantly, it could be good for those who have their IVA with that particular company and are having trouble getting to speak to their IP.

Just my opinion.

Hi chardonnay. I see your point, but we're with Mel and she reads all the posts and knows a lot about her clients. I see this as a positive as something may be nagging at you late at night, and the chances are, if you post it, Mel will reply and save sleepless nights. Just my opinion, but I know what you mean. Can't really see any of them giving up as much of their free time as Melanie does though eh?[:)] X

i have to agree melanie does wonders on the forum and i have a lot of time for her but she is also running a buissness and the best advertisment of all is word of mouth so working hard in the forum benifits her also [:)]

Its a shame more IPs dont join up as a lot of them have their own way of doing things and that can only be a good thing. Different points of view.

I too think itis a goo thing that IP's/companies come on here. Dare I say maybe one or two of the creditors may have the eyes opened a little wider. I do take Caerrie's point as well though. Getting back to Melanie, yes it does her business no harm and I'm sure she won't deny that fact but there is definately something speacial about her........

I too feel that all the experts, ip's and forum memebers on the whole make this forum what it is, as it is really good have a different opinion/point of view. Long may it last........

Thanks everyone

Viki read up this thread abit - apparently Ian is back Monday!!! [:D][:D]

Definately a good thing. I think lot that dont post certainly do read the forum. The fact that they put that they were from blair e shows they are representing their company and you know who they are, just not their personal name.
I was wondering where Ian was as well. Glad to hear he will be back soon.

Hi All,
Thanks for your posts it's good to discuss these things. I welcome IP's to the forum, but lets be honest B & E do not have the reputation Melanie has - She's brill as are many others on this site. If we could all be sure everyone is like Melanie I would feel safe, but I'm with B & E and I feel nervous they are wtching what I say.
As said before, maybe I'm being paranoid, but you don't get the same relationship with them that you do with others on this site.
I feel a need to be cautious......
Hugs,
Cx

Hi
The creditors and IVA providers do not have access to your personal details, full stop. They may be able to put two and two together from info supplied but personally I think that it can only help if they read and respond to posts. We have had NR contact the forum via Melanie to correct a wrong,as have Blair Endersby and Thomas Charles via myself
By the way I am interviewing Ian Millington later this month,so look out for the results
Regards
