Just to warn people especially those who are vulnerable. I received a phone call yesterday saying dont put this down from April 2010 you can legally wipe 100% of your debts, press 1 to continue etc. I just phone the down as I am sure its a scam but just thought I'd post it on this site as well Regards Locko

You are probably right Locko. I've not heard of anything due to come in in April this year.

You have no idea how much the call will cost you if you continue with it either.

Thanks for the warning.

It does give you the option to press 2 (I think) to delete you from their records, which I did but then quickly picked up my handset again to make sure there was a dialling code as you hear to much about these phone scams!!

I take it you didn't get the name of a company at all?

They're mostly scams aren't they? They prey on the vulnerable, not saying you are personally but one of those calls will result in someone pressing 1 x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I was just curious Locko, please don't feel you need to answer it. I'd hate for you to speak to someone who might be a bit heavy on the persuasion.

Hi Kallis dont worry I am quite thick skinned and can not be easily pushed into anything. If they do ring again I will find out as much information as I can as this forum has been a godsend to me and if I can help return the favour to all the people who have given me advice in the past that would be Locko

As long as you don't mind, just don't want any pressure putting on you.

I've had a few of these phone calls too but I just put the phone down. I was almost tempted to find out more but resisted.

I would be less than polite and the second word would be 'off'!
