Don't know but it may have something to do with fees?

It could be that they have taken the variation meeting fee from the offer upfront.

I’ve read the report back to front a few times now and just can’t seem to work it out it definitely says third part is only going to pay £4320 not the £4500 I offered from the beginning and confirmed a few times to StepChange.

Anyway I’m going to ring them now (if they’re open) because I have a few things I need to clarify before signing it and sending back. The money difference is two lots of my monthly payment because I continued payments for December and will do January as well but I’m still not sure why they didn’t put forward the full amount as I wished.

Ah .... that makes sense now --- it looks like they have deducted the payments you made after making the offer, so, from the time of making the offer you are still only actually paying the £4500.

Correct. All is sorted now and I’ve confirmed the £4320. Roll on the 25th!
They do believe this is a strong offer but of course can’t tell me as it’s down to creditors.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone on the forum.

My Iva offer has been accepted! 🥳 Today at 10am I am finally clear.
No more payments I couldn’t be any happier. A chance for a fresh start with no more debt to worry about. I even started a savings account to build my future.

I couldn’t have done it without the support of friends, family and this forum.

Upon reading my chairs report (100% voted for)
I can see the £600 for HMRC hasn’t been listed? StepChange know of this but how comes it’s not paid off?

Query it with them but they should be included. It will show it on your completion when it is issued.

I just found this in my initial paperwork.
“Where funds permit, the first dividend shall be paid to creditors within 3. On the after the nominee fee has been settled and, where applicable, the H M Revenue and Customs claim has been received and subsequently paid quarterly as a minimum thereafter.”

So this means it’s also been paid off?

We often have a pop at them. But don't forget, they only get mentioned here when something goes wrong, as with many other firms. People rarely celebrate the successes on forums like this one. CF have thousands of customers and the majority never appear here as things sail along quietly and successfully. Yes, they do things differently and, yes, they suck at communication and the customer service might be lacking somewhat --- but that suits many people. You might just need to be more interactive and / or proactive with them.
