My partner and I have just started our 3rd year out of 6 on our IVA.

I have been reading posts with great interest especially about how people cope financially on an IVA.

I am just so glad that there is some light at the end of the tunnel now even though times are hard.

Hello Louise and welcome to the forum.

Glad your IVA seems to be working out ok, it is hard sometimes though, I agree.

The forum is a fantastic place to make new friends, get support and advice and we do have some experts who post on here and that help is invaluable.

We have a great social side as well where we can have a bit of a laugh.

Keep posting!

Thanks you two I will definately keep having a look to see what is going on.

I forgot to mention my two kids. Michael is 13. he is a real live wire. Is is aspergers and sometimes our lack of money hard to understand especially when he wants to go somewhere and we can't afford to take him.

jennifer is 12 and really laid back (she needs to be!)

A lot of us are friends on Facebook as well and it's great to speak to others in the same position, especially if none of your family and friends know what you are going through.

Your kids sound great. I've a 23 year old daughter, two stepkids, four stepgrand kids and three dogs!
