Tonight I went along to my local CAB Management Committee having been asked to attend by a friend of a friend as they were seeking new blood on the their committee and wanted people from different backgrounds.
Interesting meeting and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I have been appointed as a Trustee and now have the responsibility to support the volunteers and ensure what they do is value for money and provides the services that our residents need.

I had the opportunity to raise the profile of this forum at the meeting so looking forward to having new members on here too .
If it wasn't for my past history I would not have been so confident in the meeting to talk about debt ..... so thank you IVA forum for this opportunity.

I would love to go into something debt related as a career i feel so passion about it all 4.5 years into my IVA. Dont really know where to start but just really feel i could give advice and actually know what i was talking about and relate to people.
