Well I'm no doctor but for me personally I would rest and recover before carrying on.

Your body will be busy fighting off your sore throat and putting it under more pressure could make it worse.

Plus if you are feeling lowsy you certainly won't enjoy your training session.

I would reccommend ice cream for a sore throat but it defeats the object a tadge lol!!

Hope you feel better soon x

And I won't need telling twice! I can't have ice cream (sadly!) as I shouldn't have dairy products but I've just been and bought some honey and it's helping a lot. Fingers crossed it won't turn into a full blown cold!

not quite as tasty as creamy ice cream, but you could try low fat frozen yogurt or freeze some fresh orange juice in some Ice lolly moulds or ice cube trays and have one of those instead.
Full of vit C also[:)]
Wrap up warm and have a rest Skippy

Just got back from my slimming group. Didn't go last week and didn't feel like my heart was in it these last couple of weeks what with everything thats been going on.

Still managed to loose another 4lb. Chuffed to bits cause I really wasn't expecting it.

Total loss since October 1 stone 4lb

That's really good Dee! What diet are you following (sorry if you've already said)? I've been trying to follow Weight Watchers without much success, and I don't know what to try next.

At the moment I'm feeding a cold and starving a fever, so I'm not looking forward to weighing in tomorrow!

Hope you're feeling better soon.

I lost loads on SW a few years ago, but I found it hard to stick to as I struggled to find things for lunches. On WW I just have a sandwich (I make it myself so I know what goes in it, and to save money!), but on SW I used to have a bowl of rice or cous cous every day and it got boring!

Don't worry, I've let the side down as well - I have to confess that I didn't get on the scales this morning! I got up late and don't really want to know what I weigh at the moment! I'm going out for my mum's birthday tonight, so I'm going to start again after that, and try and be more motivated!

At least you didn't put on Isthereanend, and at least you know why you didn't lose - I hate it when I'm really good all week and then I put on!

Well done pixie. I have lost 2lbs and hubby only one. we both feel a little deflated as we have been so good, but I refuse to give in this time. I have to say I feel a little less bloated and I am really pleased with my walking it is getting easier. I do miss a bickie and I have had to cut bread to only a couple of slices a week, marg and butter are my downfall.

Right that's it joining slimming world this evening! My friend is taking me and she gets a free week and she is giving it to me and it's half price registration so I think it's going to cost me a £5 a week, I realise I can't really afford this but plan to take it out of shopping budget as believe me I'll be eating lots less!

I might join either SW or WW next week - I can't afford it, but I need to do something as I've got no motivation.

Good luck at SW Isthereanend - I always found SW classes more friendly than WW classes.

Can someone who goes to SW let me know the online password for this week - there's something I want to look up and I can't find my books anywhere!
