I'm 5ft 10 and my goal for this week is 15.3. Hey Johnz if we could give blood we'd be lighter! lol
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I bought Davina Mcall's new dvd with my xmas money , done it every day for a week and already lost 3 inches off my waist. Im tryin to stick to the slimmers world diet too , but not being too harsh on myself if I cheat cos Im doing the dvd. Can recommend that one to anyone after a good workout.

I had the last Davina McCall DVD but I had to do it with the sound down as she drives me mad!

can I join too! I've got about 4 stone too loose. Which Davina dvd is the best, I can't stand the woman but have heard that her workouts are really good. I'll weigh myself tomorrow (it was going to be monday, but then I'll have a few days to recover if I have too much fun at the weekend - like you do with a 3 year old!).

The new one is the only one ive tried but its working for me. It has different sections so u can skip to the parts u want to do. It has aerobics, Pump( with weights) , legs , abs and boxing each about 20 mins long so u can do a different workout each time u do it. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone with bad knees though as the aerobics and boxing are quite jumpy!!.

Hi. I'm desperately in need of weight loss [:I] A girl at work has lost 3.5 stone using slimming world (started in Aug) She looks great. I couldn't possibly post what I weigh. It's a very closely guarded secret.I will start to post any loss though. Must start swimming again. We have a rather nice hotel nearby that does a discount for nhs staff.Keep wondering what I could cut down on to re join.Didn't use the gym bit but the pool and sauna was brilliant.Have stopped smoking by 10 weeks now, saving approx £350...therefore was spending in one week what a months subscription is (ish') Cat

I can only afford the gym because up until now work have paid £300 towards it and I found a gym for £300 a year, but this year they have taken out corporate membership at a really nice local gym. The one and only perk of the job!

Once the light nights are here (and the warmer weather!) I'm going to start cycling to work as well which will hopefully help me lose weight as well.

Oh no its Thursday weigh in tommorrow[:0]

I stepped on the scales last week and had lost 1st 4llbs since I started my iva stress in September, i know thats not a lot to lose in that long of a time but that is without trying at all[:)]
Also I think its helped by me being active on the forum as my usual snacking time (about now [:I]) has been replaced by browsing this site[:)]
Don't know if I am brave enough to post my weight yet, but will post loses

As long as you dont do what I have been doing and that is snacking and browsing at the same time !! Worst bit for me is going to be tonight at work, I tend to nibble all the wrong things there are always bickies and chocs around, so I am going to have to be strong. Just taking a bowl of salad and a yoghurt.

I'm doing the same as you Ang! I've just had some crackers and I've still got chocolate in the fridge from Christmas...

Oh well, here goes!

Me (5'8") - 12st 8.5lb
Dave (5'11") - 14st 10lb

I want to get down to 11st, or ideally 10.5st by the time I go on holiday in July. If I can find my motivation I should be able to do it!
