So now that Xmas is all done and dusted what are peoples plans for New Years?

I am working till 18:30 NY Eve but thanks to a colleague covering my shift on NY Day I am off.

So I am having an evening in with the other half. Even when I had money I never went out for New Years as it is all overpriced and overcrowded.

NY Day we are having our Xmas Meal (Did not spend Xmas together)and a chill out. Can't wait. [:D]

I don't think I'll be doing anything (maybe go to daughters) but next year I hope to be in Manchester living. 2013 is going to see a few changes for me for sure. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

The New Year will, as ever, come in without me ... same rubbish:different number ( I don't usually use the word "rubbish" !).

We have a lot of changes afoot at work -- I doubt for the better. My currently have (on top of the freeze / 1% cap) a complete review of our job descriptions (JEGS) and an overhaul of our pay system. And, just to put the icing on the cake, our conditions of employment are also being reviewed. But, of course, the Christmas message from management managed to get in the veiled "you have to work harder to do twice the work, to tighter targets, with half the workforce ..... but SMILE, be happy".

My 2012 motto ----- Keep your head down and stay out of trouble.

My 2013 motto ----- Keep your head down and try to stay out of trouble.

Cor ... I must have woken up in a bad mood this morning !!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I've tried to convince my folks to do that when I have kids but they laughed. They do not take care of any of their Grandkids (They have 9 and 3 Great ones).

Seems likes the missus parents feel the same way lol. My bad luck I guess. All my mates parents are heavily involved lol.

I would like to change jobs during 2013 and stop teaching, I'm slowly getting away from it as I only do 10 hours actual teaching and 2 hours admin time. Don't want to look after grandchildren though I know that, I don't mind having eldest every other weekend but couldn't do it regular, the older I get the less tolerant I get.
