The best one was when we were sitting at the table and she asked me what I'd done to my hair as it looks as though it had been chewed by rats!

I won't visit MIL or be in the same room as her anywhere. She is vile to me as I took her only child away that coupled with her mental illness makes her hate me!

I don't miss her and I'm sure she don't miss me, it does make it difficult for hubby though as he's in the middle and I respect this and do encourage him to visit her when it suits me i.e when I'm busy!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Poor lesley, not really anything you can do in those situations but seems like you are being the better person in it all.

Thankfully I get on quite well with my future Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law. Not engaged yet but know I am going to marry her in the next few years post-IVA.

I get on really well with mine -- she lives in the south of france and speaks very little english.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Mine was scarily nice to me this year! I was in the kitchen and she came up to me and said how much she enjoyed the wedding and how lovely I looked! It meant a lot as for her to say it meant I must have looked half decent!

New Years eve, im working until 8 and have the fun job of locking down the store again, that means xmas eve and new years eve so not impressed!

Ive never gone out new years eve night, just screams massive expense even in my debt ridden days i never saw the point!! and tbh i rarely drink at all these days so i just don't see the point.

New years day, me and OH day we always have a big xmas style lunch to start the year off with a good feed! yum! and quality day together we rarely get that.

2013 have in store, who knows! i plan to ride Ben Nevis again this year, i have a 200 mile charity cycle ride to train for. Work wise any sort of promotion is on hold as im (ahem) too old to be a store manager so they won't promote me to deputy got that bombshell yesterday, so looks like an easy year for me!

We finished on Dec 21st and ore off until 2nd Jan but it was taken out of our holiday allowance we had to keep 3 1/2 days from our 25. So although it is nice to be off we did have to use less throughout the year to allow it.
