HI there, I too am a newbie and posted off all my paperwork 06/05, I had a major shake up occur my personal life which then gave me my 'light bulb moment, recently (I must thank HIM one day!!)and had been lurking on here for a while before I posted anything.... I feel so much better having had the lovely friendly replies and I know if/when my IVA is accepted then there are so many nice people here to ask things or just spout off and I have to say it makes it all so much easier than coping on my own with it all. Although, if its not accepted than quite what I will do I am not sure but going to think positive though!! thanks again everyone and Im now off to camp out on my front door step awaiting the postman with my proposal!! xx

I am in the last month of my IVA. When we first applied I was terrified at the prospect of massive monthly repayments for 5 years, and also the stigma. Let me tell you, 5 years has gone in the blink of an eye, I am proud I have sorted my debt out and am soooo looking forward to a debt free life. My advice? Don't just accept what your IP tells vis a vis payments, increases etc. Go over everything they send you and keep every document because they sometimes get things wrong. Good Luck Babe. x
