I'll be on my own as well and went to Birmingham on my own. It's really not that scary! Meeting up with Emma T beforehand helped calm the nerves!!
I'm happy to share a room if anyone wants to save a few penny's or meet up with anyone beforehand.

Leeds is proving to be tricky to find reasonable and modestly priced accomodation, so I am now looking at Bradford where the IBIS hotel will do us sandwiches in the bar and a double room at £45 per room. At the moment they have plenty of availability and free parking - and is is also 500m from the main train station. Any takers?

Yes - we'll go firm on that date - and if you want to book your rooms now if you're staying over they are £45. I will be arranging for food on the evening, and of course Andy and I will sort out the drinks, so you just need to get yourselves there and we are sure to have a good time. I've never had a night out in Bradford, and am definately staying over for this one as it is too far to travel there and back in a day, so looking forward to it.
