We currently pay an IVA with payments based on my husbands wages and tax credits. I am a student and will be going to university in 2008. I will recieve an Nhs bursary of around 6000. Tax credits don't count this as income when working out tax credit payments. As we will have this extra 6000 a year, Will they expect it all to be paid to the creditors so that we pay extra. We currently pay 60p in the pound. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Ginger[?]

Hi
Are you both in an IVA ?
If you are then the income must be declared ,however you will then offset it with the added expenditure of going to university,so in essence you will not have to pay it into your IVA.Speak with your IP and get a fresh income and expenditure form filled in.
